QOTD:
By enforcing the reset and making sure that we, the players and testers of Kingdom Game are aware of it, they are allowing us to DO all the testing that needs to be done without concern as to how such testing will impact our kingdoms at some future point. I sent out all my forces the other night and got a lot of good testing done on the impact of losing to coordinated attacks on a well-built but basically empty kingdom, and had and have no concern about it, specifically because it DOES NOT MATTER in terms of my future play of that kingdom. However, because of it, I have been able to make some fairly good (in my opinion) recommendations that I’ve sent in (separately) on the subject of losses. Knowing that losses and wins don’t matter in a test environment - which is all that we have been playing in for this time - is what allows us to test BOTH and report on what we discern from our experiences, in order to help make this a better game and a better experience for ourselves and the new players who will join us.
